1842 – Dec officiated marriages in McDonough Co, IL of James Walker to Nancy Allison and James Allison to Mary Jane Patrick [J. King might have been James King, an M E pastor]
1845 – ordained Presbytery of Indianapolis
1845-1853 – pastor Sand Creek Presbyterian Church, Indiana
1850 – Census Decatur Co, Indiana
1853 – named interim president of McDonough College and served for a few months
1853-1859 – stated supply at Bardolph, IL Presbyterian Church; also supplied pulpit at Camp Creek, but dates unknown

1899 – Died Springdale, AR, buried Bluff Cemetery
