"Milton L. Beadles of Wichita, Kans., passed away on last Thursday at a hospital where he was being treated. He had been failing for some time. Funeral services were held on Monday of this week.
Mr. Beadles was about 70 years of age. He was for a number of years located in Smithfield and ws one of that town's most progressive business men. About 30 years ago he located at Hume, Mo., where he remained until a few years ago, when he removed to Wichita.
Mr. Beadles is survived by his wife, who was formerly Miss Anna Caley, a daughter of George Caley, who many years ago lived on what is known as the Stephen A. Hendee farm, southeast of New Philadelphia."

In the New Philadelphia section of the paper, reported by Annie's sister Docie (CALEY) CRABTREE. Annie Beadles and daughter Ethel left Monday for Norristown, Penn. after a visit in the area. Expect to make their home in Norristown.

Milton was the son of James Harvey and Mary Elizabeth (HANEY) BEADLES and grandson of Joel and Thelia B. (MCGEE) BEADLES.
Milton may have been named for Milton Lorenzo HANEY, born 1825, a Methodist minister and Civil War chaplain of the 55th Illinois Infantry, who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.
Milton BEADLES' uncle Joseph Haven BEADLES also served in the 55th Illinois. Joseph was discharged after being wounded at the battle of Shiloh.
