Beadles: Central KY and Southern IN

These appear to be descendants of John BEADLES who lived in Mercer County, KY between 1810-1830. Prior to the migration of the family from Mercer, Marion, and Washington Counties, KY to southern Indiana, the name was often spelled BEAGLES. The connections between these men and also the connections among their descendants is based, at this point, mostly on guesswork. USE WITH CAUTION

Those with the notation CW at the end of the line served with Union Troops during the American Civil War. Four of them died during the conflict.
